Staff Policies
Our staff policies are designed to help us to deliver a safe, reliable and efficient railway.
We have three main policies:
- Safety
- Drugs & alcohol
- Good conduct.
Confidential Incident Reporting & Analysis System
If one of our employees comes across a practice or situation that does not comply with our safety, drug & alcohol or good conduct policies but feels that they are unable to raise it through the normal procedures, they can use this system.
If an employee makes a report, then he or she will be treated in a confidential & sensitive manner. Network Rail managers are expected to assume that he or she is acting from loyalty and to treat their concerns with respect.
The identity of the individual making the allegation will not be disclosed without the consent of that individual.
