Safety KPIs 2007/08
This section includes information on the following principal Safety KPIs currently concerning our company, up to 31 March 2008:
Workforce safety:
System safety:
- Level crossing misuse
- Infrastructure wrong side failures (50+ severity score)
- Cat A SPADs
- Operating irregularities
- Criminal damage
Workforce safety considers the safety of our people as they carry out their duties and system safety is an indication of the overall safety of passengers, workforce and public in respect of the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the railway system.
This section also includes an update on investments to enhance safety and environmental performance, funded from our Safety & Environment Fund.
