We have got a huge task to complete planned railway improvement works requiring us to work night and day. This work continues over the August bank holiday weekend, when we are spending approximately £45m on over 31 projects. More than 4,500 people will work around 160,000 man hours over the weekend to help build a bigger, better railway.
